Electrical Energy Storage Systems - Level 3

The EESS course is specifically aimed at existing practising electricians, electrical technicians and engineers with experience in electrical installations and associated inspection and testing and giving them the necessary training to upskill their existing skills to install EESS.

The objective of this course is for delegates to demonstrate they know and understand the requirements for installing EESS. The delegates will know the health and safety risks and regulations and standards relating to the installation, testing, and certification/handover of EESS systems.

The course will cover:

• Legislation, standards, and industry guidance
• Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS)
• Preparation for design and installation
• Design and installation
• Initial Verification Methods Relevant to EESS
• Handover and DNO Notification
