Emma is founder of Enterprise Nation. Emma joined international accounting firm Arthur Andersen, before starting her own business in 2000, which was successfully sold two years later.

Emma then launched Enterprise Nation and has since written a number of bestselling business books, including Spare Room Start-Up, Working 5 to 9, Go Global and the StartUp Kit.

Emma was a co-founder of StartUp Britain in 2011 was appointed one of the prime minister's Trade Ambassadors in 2015 and Small Business Representative for the Crown in June 2016.

A passionate supporter of all things start-ups and marketing, Lorna is dedicated to helping small business owners turn their ideas into successful realities.

She does this via her role as chief marketing officer, where Lorna ensures that entrepreneurs are aware of the support they need to make their ventures flourish.

Prior to Enterprise Nation, Lorna worked for national enterprise campaign StartUp Britain, where she ran high-profile initiatives that aimed to accelerate start-up rates in the UK.

Diane curates and manages programmes that support our members – whatever the stage of their business.

Passionate about start-ups, Diane spent six years in Hong Kong before joining Enterprise Nation, where she helped to develop a flourishing start-up ecosystem.

A true world traveller, Diane’s career has taken her from London to Hong Kong and Beijing, via Abu Dhabi, and back again.

Liz is a PR specialist focusing on keeping small businesses and start-ups front and centre of the broader media agenda. That means telling the very real and brilliant stories about the UK's small business community and the work Enterprise Nation and its partners do to support them.

Marco focuses on the continual development of the Enterprise Nation platform, enhancing the UX and UI with help from the Enterprise Nation community.

Marco has over 10 years’ experience as a front-end developer and digital designer within advertising and e-learning sectors. He has a passion for everything digital and emerging technologies.

Alex joined Enterprise Nation because he enjoys exciting challenges and working in an environment where mindfulness, receptivity and technical efficiency drive the success of the business' growth.

When younger, Alex used to play tennis professionally and participate in competitive programming events, such as game jams and hackathons.

Nowadays, Alex dedicates his free time to taking care of his Samoyed dog. She's a handful!

Carolyn is an experienced data analyst with a passion for CRM. She is responsible for collecting and analysing business data to provide insights and intelligence to help Enterprise Nation operate effectively.

In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys playing badminton.

Jordan is an experienced creative technologist responsible for overseeing the UX function at Enterprise Nation. With over 12 years of expertise in software development and design, he focuses on creating user-centered designs that deliver engaging digital experiences for the Enterprise Nation community.

Outside of his working life, Jordan keeps himself busy with lots of things. He enjoys airsoft, video games, long walks with his dog Nala, and spending time with his family.

Prior to joining Enterprise Nation as Platform Partnership Manager, Mark spent 7 years working in Higher Education responsible for improving the student experience, before moving into EdTech selling and managing recruitment-based solutions software to a variety of customers in the education sector.

Mark's main focus at Enterprise Nation is developing partnerships for the platform, as well as the acquisition of advisers who are best placed to provide the support small businesses owners need to start and grow their own business.

In his spare time, Mark can be found playing rugby at London Welsh RFC or watching his beloved Liverpool Football Club.

Before joining Enterprise Nation as content manager in October 2021, Marc held a similar role at the British Business Bank. There, he was in charge of content for several websites and spent much of his time writing articles for the benefit of the small business community. Prior to that, Marc worked in content roles for a digital marketing and SEO agency, a software company and an international law firm.

Emily Booth recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh studying Business with Marketing. Prior to studying, Emily worked with us as a marketing assistant and we loved her so much that we simply had to invite her back!

Emily is a lover of all things social media, interior design, animals and travelling. A true perfectionist, which makes her a brilliant asset to the creative marketing department and she’s also really passionate about helping people.

An experienced content editor and multimedia journalist, Amanda has worked across various consumer and B2B print and digital media platforms across the globe.

She loves storytelling and is on a mission to represent the voice of the “lil guy”. Throughout her career, she has launched and nurtured podcasts, newsletters, websites, magazines, and other media initiatives.

Amanda has a degree in media and a master’s in magazine journalism from Cardiff University.

Amy is a Programme Manager with over 5 years’ experience in project management across a variety of projects and campaigns including for small businesses.

At Enterprise Nation, Amy splits her time between delivering a pilot programme supporting young people to start or grow their own business in London and delivering StartUp UK, a campaign which will encourage 1 million people to start their own business within three years.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys yoga and exploring new places.

Gráinne’s background is in events management and coaching. She enjoys the job satisfaction of seeing events come to life and is passionate about helping others.

Gráinne manages a variety of programmes for Enterprise Nation and is a champion for female entrepreneurs as she is keen to help empower them with their business endeavours.

In her spare time, she can be found weightlifting, hiking or sea swimming.

Rianne Walters joins the Enterprise Nation team as Events Manager. With a background in digital marketing, Rianne has five years’ experience developing and leading on high profile corporate events in prestigious locations such as the House of Lords. Rianne has a passion for improving and enhancing the delegate experience and works hard to ensure Enterprise Nation is delivering an array of events members can use to grow, build, and develop their businesses.

In her spare time Rianne enjoys travelling, creating content and baking banana bread.

As our programmes coordinator, Suki supports a wide range of small business programmes – something she's been passionate about since interning at a biotechnology start-up while studying for a biomedical science degree.

After university, she moved into the non-profit sector, developing her career in project coordination and working to support marginalised communities and young people with their development.

Her love for the start-up sector and desire to make a positive impact led her to join Enterprise Nation.

Outside of work, you can find Suki playing tennis, hiking or baking up a storm of goodies!
