To be eligible for the competition, a food business must:

be Black-owned
have been trading for at least 18 months
have fewer than five locations

It should take less than five minutes to complete the application form.

If your initial application is successful, there will be a second stage where we'll invite you to submit a video entry for your business.

You can spend the grant on professional services and/or equipment that will help your business grow.

We're aiming to notify shortlisted businesses by 21 November 2023. We'll then ask shortlisted businesses to submit a short video that talks about their business journey and why they should receive grant money from the fund.
