Enterprise Nation has partnered with Amazon, Google, Square, .ie and GS1 to launch Tech Hub – a free online tool that provides recommendations and resources to help small businesses go digital.
Tech Hub is a dynamic new platform designed to deliver personalised recommendations, digital training and ongoing support to help small businesses embrace technology for growth and sustainability.
Through the hub, businesses will gain access to diagnostics, tailored action plans and expert resources, all geared towards helping them explore technology to improve their business processes.
It's a critical part of Enterprise Nation’s strategy to equip Ireland’s small businesses with the tools they need to grow.
Alongside Tech Hub is the launch of the Small Business Tech Consortium, a new initiative uniting Enterprise Nation and partners Amazon, Google, Square, .ie and GS1 with small business leaders. Together, they will influence digital policy and accelerate digital adoption for Ireland’s smallest companies.
The consortium will carry out research, draft policy proposals and engage with government on behalf of small businesses. By bringing together tech industry giants and small business leaders, its goal is to become a key driver of digital transformation across Ireland’s business landscape.
The newly formed consortium has laid out the key areas that it will prioritise over the next 12 months. They include:
conducting research into where the digital skills gaps exist for small businesses
identifying supports, training and policy frameworks needed to advance digital literacy, digital capabilities and resilience within the sector
Joanne Mangan, Ireland country manager at Enterprise Nation, said:
