At Enterprise Nation, we're passionate about championing the small businesses that make our high streets – and our communities – truly remarkable.
That's why we're thrilled to announce the return of Realising the Remarkable, our grant programme with VistaPrint, now in its third year.
The initiative is all about backing small businesses with big ideas – and this year, we're awarding £30,000 in funding to help founders take their businesses to the next level.
Why this matters
The UK high street is showing strong signs of revival, with nearly half of Brits visiting weekly and young shoppers leading the way.
And encouragingly, the public wants to see even more independent businesses opening up shop.
But building a business – let alone a bricks-and-mortar one – is no small feat. That's why Realising the Remarkable exists: to offer not just funding, but a confidence boost to small business owners working hard to build something great in their communities.
Aaron Asadi, CEO of Enterprise Nation, says:
"The entrepreneurs behind independent commercial outlets and stores are the true heroes of our high streets. They provide the services we need and a sense of community that makes us all feel better and more positive.
"Realising the Remarkable is about recognising the relentless work these individuals do every day in challenging circumstances and that fact that the British public is getting behind that could be exactly what our local economies need."
