Once you've found a grant that suits you, it's time to apply. The process can be competitive, so it's important that your application stands out.
Here are some top tips:
Read the eligibility criteria carefully. Don't waste time on grants your business doesn't qualify for.
Tell your story clearly. The decision-makers want to understand your business's purpose, impact and potential.
Back up your claims with evidence. Whether it's the traction you've gained, great customer feedback you've received or figures that show how you've grown, always support your case.
Be specific with how you'll use the grant. Explain what the money will do and why it matters.
Check deadlines – and give yourself time. Rushed applications are easy to spot (and reject).
