On Sunday 5 October, I'll be in Manchester for SME Day at the Conservative Party Conference, representing Enterprise Nation and our community of small businesses.
The programme is designed to give small business voices a seat at the table. It opens with a panel on the work of the Invest in Women taskforce, followed by sessions with senior Conservative figures, including the Shadow Chancellor and other shadow ministers covering the Treasury, business, trade and innovation.
There will also be policy roundtables and a dedicated SME reception in the evening. The full agenda will be published in September, but the themes already point to finance, skills and the wider environment for entrepreneurs.
Across the day, I'll be listening in on the debates, joining conversations and reporting back on what the policy direction could mean for founders and small firms. I'll share insights from the main stage as well as what's being discussed in the margins.
This is a ticketed event organised by the Conservative Party (enquiries via businessrelations@conservatives.com).
Keep an eye out for my updates as the conference unfolds.
