Fractional Operations and Technology Director

I am the founder of Nexus 360, a business growth partner for ambitious SMEs across the UK. I work with business owners who know they want to grow but are still working out what specifically needs to change to make that happen. The starting point is always a structured conversation, understanding exactly where the business stands today, where the owner wants to take it, and what is standing between the two. From that, I design and build a technical business growth roadmap tailored to the specific commercial, operational and digital needs of the business, sequenced in the right order so that every change reinforces the next and the business grows stronger as a whole. I then work hands-on alongside the leadership team to implement that roadmap, building the systems and infrastructure that turn growth ambition into structured reality. The role I take on varies by client, sometimes the equivalent of a fractional COO, sometimes a fractional CTO, sometimes both, but the approach is always the same: embedded alongside the team rather than advising from a distance. That work draws on more than 25 years of enterprise transformation experience gained at organisations including RBS, Thomas Cook, English Heritage and Greencore. The structured thinking that made those programmes work is what I now bring to ambitious SMEs, businesses that deserve the same quality of strategic and operational support that large organisations take for granted.
