&lt;p&gt;i started Strillobyte&amp;nbsp;in 2014 with the ambition to build a small but impactful&amp;nbsp;software agency.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Over the years, we have worked with lots of&amp;nbsp;purpose-driven businesses and individuals, helping them&amp;nbsp;build the right technology to realise their vision, be it in education, internal communications, energy and facilities management and more.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Since 2019 I have scaled down the agency&amp;nbsp;and I&amp;#39;ve been&amp;nbsp;working primarily as a Soluton Architect and Technical Advisor to a few larger clients.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

Over the last 20 years I've built software solutions for the most disparate industries, from oil & gas to transportation, from facilities management to consumer-facing mobile apps and enterprise web applications.
With Strillobyte, I support clients who want to see their ideas turned into real digital products.
We can assist across the whole development lifecycle, from facilitating workshops to the actual coding or implementing on-going support strategies for long-term projects.

After studying Software &amp; Electornics, Marco started his career in the tehcnology world as an application developer in the late 90s.
In 2010 he moved from Italy to the UK to join a software house in London as Technical Team Leader, eventually heading up the R&amp;D team to build the company's first mobile apps.
In 2014 Marco started his own technology agency <a href='https://www.strillobyte.com/' target='_self'>Strillobyte</a> to help small businesses and startups quickly prototype digital products. His main focus is on using technology to support purpose-driven ventures, particularly social enterprises and non-profit organisations.
Alongisde supporting other businesses, Strillobyte experiments and develops its own software products, the latest being <a href='https://kluapp.com/' target='_self'>KLU</a>, a mobile app to easily connect digital content to physical items via bespoke QR codes.
When not coding or playing Lego with his kids, Marco enjoys learning to play the drums or doing the occasional motor racing on his old Yamaha R6.

I&apos;m a <a href=&apos;https://danmartinuk.com/&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>freelance journalist and event host</a> who helps small businesses and the organisations that support them. I&apos;m also Enterprise Nation&apos;s news reporter and Bristol Local Leader.
I have 20 years of experience as a small business journalist having interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs from famous names like Sir Richard Branson and Deborah Meaden to the founders behind brand new start-ups.
I&apos;ve worked for a range of leading small business publications and support groups, most recently as head of content at Enterprise Nation where I was responsible for the prolific output of content on the company&apos;s blog and social media. I now freelance for Enterprise Nation as the website&apos;s <a href=&apos;https://www.enterprisenation.com/business-news&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>news reporter</a> and as the host of the <a href=&apos;https://www.enterprisenation.com/podcast&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>Small Business sessions podcast</a>.
I&apos;m based in Bristol where I run and host regular events with the local small business community in my role as Enterprise Nation&apos;s Local Leader for Bristol. I also have strong connections with other major business organisations in the south west region.
In total, I&apos;ve hosted over 100 events including conferences with an audience of hundreds for international brands like Xero and Facebook and live web chats from inside 10 Downing Street.
With my partner, I co-run <a href=&apos;https://www.lifestyledistrict.co.uk/&apos; target=&apos;_self&apos;>Lifestyle District</a>, a lifestyle blog focused on culture, art, theatre and photography.

John holds an MSc in Strategic Quality Management, Lean Sigma Systems from the University of Limerick and is a doctoral candidate in the University of Limerick.
