Supplier Readiness Programme

The Supplier Readiness Programme aims to provide hundreds of businesses with support to help enhance their skills, build professional networks, and become a successful bidder.  

The programme will be delivered online and in-person until March 2025 and support will be tailored to individual businesses.

This cross-departmental team will develop and deliver tailored guidance, support, workshops and events for local target organisations and will provide brokerage services with strategic suppliers, anchor institutions and larger businesses based in Westminster that can offer business support. They will use an accessible supplier directory commissioned by the council through a programme of active outreach to new market entrants within the borough and wider London.

There will be a particular focus on smaller businesses owned and led by disabled people, women and people from global majority backgrounds, as well as social enterprises and other voluntary and community sector organisations.
