Hosted by your Local Leader: Rebecca Batstone

I originally trained as a pharmacist, qualifying in 1995. After a number of years working in a variety of roles within the NHS and the private sector I returned to education to undertake my MBA with the University of Strathclyde Business School, obtaining this in 2006.

I maintain a facilitative coaching style and pride myself on being a friendly, supportive and engaging. I believe passionately that coaching can support individuals to reach their true potential and I will gently and respectfully push clients beyond their comfort zone to achieve fantastic results both for the individual and the business.

Space and Clarity Coaching

I have a varied professional background, having worked in both the public and private sector predominantly in healthcare, life sciences and economic development. I trained as a coach in 2018 and set up my coaching practice 'Space and Clarity Coaching' the same year. I hold the ACC level of accreditation with the International Coaching Federation. In 2024 I completed additional coach training to qualify as a specialist ADHD coach and I now predominantly coach neurodivergent adults a great number of whom are business owners - neurodivergent individuals are often very likely to be entrepreneurial in nature and many of us (myself included) are working for ourselves!  Aside from my private coaching clients, I am also a business advisor for Cumbria Growth Hub (part of the Chamber of Commerce), deliver on programmes for Enterprising Cumbria and teach for a local CIC who support women in business. I also provide training and consultancy services to SMEs and larger businesses on creating a more neuroinclusive workplace. I am a regular speaker at conferences and events sharing my expertise of supporting neurodivergent individuals to harness their strengths and talents.
