This relaunch marks a renewed commitment to empowering Hackney’s diverse business community, creating opportunities for residents to build sustainable enterprises and contribute to local economic growth.

Eligibility requirements
Eligibility criteria if you are an already existing business:
- Need to have a residential or trading address in the borough of Hackney.
- Has to classify as an SME:
- have fewer than 250 employees and either:
- an annual turnover of less than £44 million or
- a balance sheet total of less than £38 million
- Not bankrupt, or in the process of winding up/striking off.
- Cannot have received more than £315k State Aid (inc. Covid Support) in the last three years.
- Has to be 18+
