Cars, parcels, offices – three new sponsors for Enterprise Nation

Welcome mat with cats

We’re delighted to welcome three new sponsors to Enterprise Nation who can help you create a professional image, go global and get products from A to B in the UK, and beyond!

In the past couple of weeks, Regus, DHL and Hertz have stepped up to show their commitment to small business by supporting our Go Global series of events and the Enterprise Nation blog. Here’s a little introduction to the companies:

Regus

Started by British entrepreneur, Mark Dixon, Regus is now the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace. With 1,200 locations in 550 cities and 91 countries, Regus offers businesses a real or virtual office presence, no matter where they’re trading. When doing business in the UK, you can access a Regus Virtual Office so you don’t have to promote your home address, meet clients in professional meeting space, or work from a business lounge on days when you want to work away from the home office.

Regus also has an important role to play when it comes to going global. You can create a local base in international markets with a Regus address, or visit new markets and use Regus as a touchdown facility.

Regus is supporting our series of Go Global events, will be offering tips and ideas on how to create a professional image, and extending offers so you can try out the service for free!

DHL

Started in 1969, DHL was the first door-to-door international express delivery service. Forty years on, the company delivers to more than 120,000 destinations in 225 countries. A company representative refers to being “A walking GPS” as “locals stop our drivers for directions. We’re at home anywhere in the world and that matters to anyone with overseas shipping needs.”

DHL is supporting the Go Global series of events. You’ll be able to meet Dave Knight from DHL on Thursday 31st May to discover how to safely ship products across the globe.

Hertz

Hertz is the world’s largest general use car rental brand, operating from over 7,700 locations in 145 countries. What Hertz offers the small-business owner is a flexible way to rent a car, meaning you have the transport you need while keeping overheads low and term-of-use as short or long as you like. Choose from options including pay-as-you-go vehicle hire from £5.50 an hour through to Hertz 28 plus plan for longer term rental. Either way, Hertz can help your business to motor!

About our partners

Regus, Hertz and DHL have joined a growing list of established providers of products and services to small businesses that sponsor or support Enterprise Nation events and activities and enable us to continue providing information and help to start-up and small enterprises across the UK.

Our partners also include:

  • Alibaba.com
  • AXA
  • BlackBerry
  • Facebook
  • HP
  • Intuit
  • PayPal
  • Telenomics Ltd

Like us, each wants to see the UK’s small enterprises flourish, so we encourage them to make special offers to our community and to attend our events so they can meet small-business owners face to face. We’re very keen to create connections between small firms and the big companies that supply them and buy their services.

You’ll be able to meet representatives from these companies at Enterprise Nation events or online in our regular programme of webchats (details of forthcoming chats soon).

  1. Congrats, all! This promises to be a great year for British Business.

  2. Its good to see positive news- especially in these more bleak economic times. Encouraging, also to see support coming form bigger businesses to help smaller businesses. Pulling together, supporting one another in whatever ways is a very good thing! Thanks
