We’ll be doing a spot of coworking, and meeting some of our lovely members, at the Birmingham Jelly this Friday. If you’re around, bring your laptop, come say ‘hi’!
It’s the coworking meetup’s first birthday, so we’ll be there to celebrate – with cake, no doubt! – and hosting a live, in-person version of our popular, virtual breaktime for homeworkers #watercoolermoment. Jelly regular and caffeine junky Tim Wilson (@Timmy666) will be joining EN community man San (@e_nation) to lead the discussion, which will be, fittingly, about coffee!
Birmingham Jelly, which was launched by Rickie Josen (@RickieWrites), will take place at its regular home in the Urban Coffee Co café in the Jewellery Quarter from 9am onwards.
San had this to say:
“What’s not often talked about in business support is how isolating running a business can be, especially when you work from home.
“That’s why we set up #watercoolermoment, which is a way for home-based business owners to share their mid-morning break with others – on Twitter.
“For the first time, we’ll be bringing #watercoolermoment into the real world at Urban Coffee in the Jewellery Quarter – and we’ll buy the first round of coffees!
“We’ll also be joining our followers online at the same time. We’re @e_nation on Twitter, and you can find out more by searching for #watercoolermoment.”
San will see you on Friday! If you can make it, let us know in the comments.
