On Saturday 17th January over 2000 entrepreneurs attended StartUp 2015 at Somerset House and turned it into a living and breathing entrepreneurial incubator and pitch platform.

This unique event brought together some of the UK’s most influential entrepreneurs, business leaders and brightest start-ups - providing detailed and practical insight for you to start and scale-up your business.

This largest StartUp Show of the New Year was hosted at Somerset House on Saturday 17th January. It was for anyone looking to become their own boss in 2015.

The event featured:

  • A series of talks and drop-ins: with Eventbrite , Hootsuite and creative experts
  • Activity for the kids with Supa Academy: provided fun and education throughout the day
  • A Tech Zone: opportunity to meet Hootsuite and General Assembly to get your questions answered
  • Meet HSBC and other funding partners in the Funding Zone: to get  advice on raising money and keeping on top of cash flow 

  • Visit the Insurance Zone: To get your business protected from the outset with Direct Line for Business
  • Get brainstorming in the Creative Zone: Have a mini consultation with professional designers offering advice on branding
  • Get your start-up photo taken: and create a professional image from the start 
  • A Getting Online Zone: to meet 123-reg to pick up all the tips and tools you need to start blogging, selling and being online
  • Set-up your company: with Companies House and an ICAEW accountant in the Enterprise Nation room
  • Meet one to one: with our marketplace advisers, simply drop-in to the the Somerset House Exchange
