All UK business owners know by now of the changes made on 1 January 2021 to UK’s VAT rules, that greatly affected UK ecommerce businesses and how they trade in the EU.
From 1 July 2021, the EU is making some of the biggest adjustments to the VAT system for the last three decades. The aim is to simplify the current rules and crack down on growing VAT fraud and evasion. By introducing IOSS & OSS it will make it easier for businesses to sell into European markets, however there are logistical challenges that will come along with these changes.
