My idea is...
I’ve started my own business, Workwise Business Systems, which offers a secure online customer management, invoicing, quoting and payment tracking, and helpdesk/contact centre solution.
Basically Workwise provides everything a business would need to manage their customer information and accurately track invoicing and payments.
I spent all of last year developing the system after being made redundant in January and I’m committed to making the service the best it can be by incorporating features requested by subscribers.
I could go on for pages and pages on how great the software is but what I see as the major benefit of Workwise is that, as a new small business, I can really help other business owners from having to spend time having to manage data and focus on building their businesses!
I’ve already got my website up and running, and use Workwise for managing my own customers which means I’ve not needed to spend money on business stationary (apart from business cards). I’ve also ‘invested’ in some sweatshirts with the business logo, slogan and website address on them and wear these everywhere I go.
I’m applying for £500 of Fund101 funding to pay for marketing materials, namely a printed six page brochure that can be sent out to sales leads and for some A5 folded leaflets to take with me to networking events. Anything left over will be used to pay for Google Adwords advertising.
It would mean the world to me if you would consider my application (and vote for me) as this is my dream business and I really am living and breathing the business at the moment!
