My idea is...

I am a freelance, home-based web designer from sunny Morecambe in Lancashire. Over the last three years I have grown as a business and as a person and have come to realise a few of things.

1. A business really needs a good back up system for its data.
2. Cloud based storage is all very well but I would prefer to have control of my own data.
3. As a web designer I need space to test ideas out before I unleash them on the world.

While I do have an adequate back-up system in place I find I am running out of space and need to upgrade. Now seems an ideal time to not only do that but also improve it.

To that end I would like to apply for funding in order to buy a server (and all the necessary bits) with enough space not only for now but well into the future. I intend to be around for a while longer
