Turn customer feedback into positive action

Feedback from customers is good and to be encouraged. It will tell you what you’re doing right and possibly highlight areas for improvement.
Taking it on the chin
It can be hard to take feedback – especially if it’s critical! But think of constructive criticism as a favour. If you respond to what the customer says, you’re likely to win their affection, and more customers.
- ask for feedback on all areas of your business, ranging from value for money, through to the simplicity of the ordering process
- to record feedback, consider comment boxes on your website and tools such as SurveyMonkey (this is the survey tool we use at Enterprise Nation)
Then use the results to plan new products or services and improve on existing ones.
