Sell your logos through iStockphoto

Home based designers will be interested to know that online stock library, iStockphoto, has announced it will start selling logos. This offers designers a new revenue stream; to design logos and offer them up for sale through this online channel. And if you're a home business looking for a company logo, this is good news for you too!
A logo bazaar!
In announcing their new logo service, iStockphoto described it as thus:
"Our clients will be able to download a unique logo to brand their business or organization right here at iStock from designers like you.
As a designer, you've probably created hundreds of different logos over the course of your career and we're offering you an outlet to start selling new logos to the world’s largest community of creative buyers."
The site may have announced the service but they're not accepting logos just yet. They are in the midst of preparing a 'Logo Training Manual' - in the meantime, you can find out more about how it all works by clicking on the link below that and accessing a discussion in the iStockphoto forum.

Comment: A sad day for the design industry. I urge all freelance designers and small design businesses not to devalue the design profession by participating in this.
