Outsec grows from strength to strength

Good news from Enterprise Nation member and boss of Outsec, Vanessa Phillips, who is recording record growth in her business as more surveyors and estate agents cut costs and move their transcription requirements offsite. Vanessa and her army of home-based typists are just ready and waiting to pick up the new business.
OutSec is an internet typing and secretarial support service and they’re growing fast. The reason why? As Vanessa says:
“Having an in-house typist is an expensive luxury that few can afford when things are quiet and there is little work to keep those fingers busy. Moving typing from a fixed to a variable cost makes a lot of business sense. It frees up space, allows existing staff to operate more efficiently and does away with employment and recruitment issues.”
OutSec has a network of more than 300 British secretaries who all operate from home. The company is the market leader in its profession and was recently recognised by Real Business Magazine as being one of the Top 30 at-home UK companies.
The company is signing up 15-20 new corporate clients a month and is delighted that the message is getting through to the property market that a home-based and online secretary can work just as well, and often much better, than an in-house one, and at a fraction of the cost.
Keep going with that growth, Outsec!

Survey
Enterprise Nation is undertaking the largest ever survey of home businesses and we'd love you to help!
It'll only take a few minutes. Your responses won't be shared but they will paint a picture of just what's happening in entrepreneurial homes across the UK. The results will be written up in our 2008 Home Business Report, which will be free and available on the site in October.
