Today marks the day of just one month left to submit your entry to our 2008 Home Business Awards. Entry is free and easy to do, and could lead to you being crowned the Home Business of the Year. There’s plenty of prizes and profile for the winners.

This feature here tells you all about this year’s Awards and includes the entry form. You can enter online (via Survey Monkey) or complete a word document and submit via email.

The Home Business of the Year will receive prizes including a free PA for 12 months from Moneypenny, a printing package worth £1,000 from Brother and 10 days access to private members club, One Alfred Place.

New categories

We’ve had a question about the 3 new categories we’ve announced this year. The question was regarding the criteria for these new categories.

There’s no extra criteria. All you have to do is complete your entry form (everyone automatically gets entered for the Home Business of the Year title) and, if you check any of the 3 new category boxes, just tell us as part of the existing form why you’re so special eg:

• Checking Home Business Couple of the Year – tell us how and why you work so well as a couple
• Checking Home Office of the Year – tell us why your home office deserves to be admired
• Checking Young Home Business Owner of the Year – just confirm to us that you’re under the age of 25!

We’re receiving entries up until 15th August 2007. This is your deadline date.

It’s then over to our panel of Judges to decide on the winner, who will be announced with great fanfare on 1st September 2008.
