Frocks, socks, and everything in between

Certainly one of the benefits of homeworking is the freedom to wear what you like and save a small fortune on your wardrobe costs. What’s recommended when it comes to home office fashion?
- Do get dressed for work each morning.
- Wear something that suits your mood. Maybe jeans, t-shirt and trainers for creative/admin work and something a little more formal when making client calls. Admittedly, clients can’t ‘see’ you but you’ll want to ‘sound’ professional and your clothing will contribute to this.
- Dress up for home office visitors. Meeting clients is an opportunity to glam it up with your best dress and make-up (not for the boys!) to make a good impression.
- Trade tips with other home workers. On everything from the best colour for concentration, through to the most comfortable and productive home office shoes.
