5 BlackBerry apps for being 'on the move'

  1. HRS Hotelportal
    Search through the database of more than 250,000 hotels worldwide, check availabilities and current prices, and find out about the location of and facilities at available hotels.
  2. Poynt
    Use Poynt to find businesses, retailers, restaurants, movies, petrol prices and weather information around you. Poynt uses GPS or cell-site location to quickly deliver the information you need, whenever and wherever you need it.
  3. WhereRYu - Family Location Tracking
    WhereRYu lets people you trust find you at your current location. Emails that are sent to you with the subject "Where are you?" or "WhereRYu?" are automatically replied with a link to your current location on Google Maps.
  4. Tube Map
    Londoners or visitors to London can enjoy this scrollable pocket map of the London Underground for free!
  5. Car Finder
    Did you ever forget where you parked your car? Carfinder can help you find it. Using BlackBerry's built-in GPS, the app remembers the exact position where you parked it. You only need to follow the compass to find it.

Comment: I love my Blackberry. I use Openbeak which is a Twitter app. This is invaluable to me for maintaining my Twitter presence without having to chain myself to a computuer.
